The Online Dictionary of Intercultural Philosophy (Preview)

This site is old. Go to ODIP

Submissions (200-1000 words, 3500 words for historical  entries on philosophical movements) are peer reviewed and should be sent to botz.t@gust.edu.kw. Preferably, entries explain concepts and terms but in certain cases entries on philosophers or books will also be accepted. All entries will be published with the author’s name. Entries must present bibliographical references for further reading at the end. All entries must address at least indirectly the potential use of the defined terms within contexts of intercultural philosophy. This is how ODIP strives to distinguish itself from and complement other existing encyclopedias.

Please go to the 'Call for Entries' page, where you will find a list of terms. Entries on other relevant terms are welcome.

This is an ongoing project and there are no deadlines for submissions.

Submissions will be edited and do not need to come in perfect English. We can also translate contributions from certain languages.
